Jan O'Brien - Las Vegas Foreclosures Jan O'Brien has been a Nevada licensed broker-salesperson since 1992, working in all areas of real estate including residential, property management, foreclosures (REO) and short sales. She is an expert in the marketing and negotiating of all aspects of real estate. Jan co-manages a team of professionals who actively work with both buyers and sellers of Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas Real Estate including Las Vegas short sales and foreclosures.

Jan has more than 25 years of leadership, training, business and coaching experience. She holds a degree in education from the University of Georgia and served 8 years in the U.S. Army as an officer and Blackhawk helicopter pilot.

Jan is currently the Corporate Broker/Manager for the Green Valley Branch of Realty One Group in Las Vegas - managing over 400 real estate agents. Realty One Group is the number 1 company in Nevada in both total closed transactions and total number of active agents. Jan has provided business coaching and consulting to more than 100 top producing real estate sales executives and teams to establish and use effective business and real estate systems. Jan worked with Prudential Americana Group, Realtors in Las Vegas from 1992 to 2009 as a sales executive, broker-manager and from 2007-2009, as the General Manager responsible for recruiting, coaching and leadership training of the management team and 6 branch offices with nearly 1,200 sales executives. In 2008, the company ranked 8th in the network of over 650 brokerages.

In April 2010, Jan co-authored a new designation course with Steven Kitnick entitled Certified Foreclosure Alternatives Consultant. As of March 2010, she along with colleague Steven Kitnick have certified over 800 Nevada real estate professionals in handling short sale transactions.
