Meet the O'Brien-Nikolov Team

Chris ElderChris Elder

I am Chris Elder a Real Estate Salesperson, and long time Las Vegas resident, I have been married since 2004 and have a lovely daughter.  I believe strongly that if you love what you do, then success will follow. I have found fulfillment in the fast changing world of Real Estate. I am very detail oriented, enjoy helping people, and love learning. I make it a point to learn as much as possible about the career I choose, and it seems that the information is always changing in the Real Estate world.

I have previously worked as an aircraft mechanic, maintaining general aviation aircraft at a local flight school, then making a move to Clark County Department of Aviation to supervise a group of maintenance technicians at McCarran International Airport. These jobs allowed me to help people, but on a much smaller scale. Real estate has allowed me to teach and communicate with more freedom, and focus more on ethics and integrity.

In my personal life I have enjoyed many hobbies and love learning new skills. For many years now I have been involved in remote control aviation, flying in a local club and building scale aerobatic aircraft which I regularly fly at the Sam Boyd Stadium / Bennett Field.  I have been fortunate enough to be currently working with a Real Estate Team engaged in providing the best possible customer service through a group effort, and look forward to meeting many new exciting people in the years to come.

Choosing a real estate agent who has the skills, tools and experience to make your dreams come true can be as challenging as the home buying process itself.  Let me make it simple for you.

I grew up in Las Vegas, graduating from Las Vegas High School in an undisclosed year.  After journeying to Alaska to work on the the Trans-Alaskan pipeline, I returned home to purchase my first fixer-upper tri-plex.  This interest in real estate, led me to a job in the title/escrow field.  I bought more rental homes in Las Vegas during this period and learned how to fix it... whatever "it" was.  After 8 years in the Title business, I moved into a position originating Home Mortgages for the next 15 years.  I started selling my rental homes and 1031 exchanged land that I subdivided onto lots.  My timing was great... all of our timing was great during those early 2000's.  I stopped doing home loans and got a real estate license.  I gained experience with real estate sales/commercial real estate and bought more land.  I am pretty focused on real estate...wouldn't you say?

So there it folks, real estate is my cheese.  It's flavor, taste, location are very different.  I am not looking for cheese in the same place wondering where and when it will return.  Please let me use all of my experiences in life/real estate to assist you with your next real estate transaction.
